Blue Avenue Groove is a Motown/R&B/Pop/Rock/Jazz band founded by Will Kencel in 2014 after moving to Brooklyn, NY. Bringing the best that the city has to offer, we are no ordinary cover band. Consisting of nationally acclaimed musicians from the New York soul and jazz scene, Blue Avenue Groove breathes feeling into the hits that you know and love. With the top notch musicianship, a love of engaging the crowd, versatile repertoire, and a strong friendship on/off the stage, Blue Avenue Groove is a great band for any event from weddings in Mexico to corporate events in Times Square Manhattan.
